Khajjiar

Khajjiar is one of the few places throughout the world, who has been designated as ‘MINI SWITZERLAND.’ Situated almost midway between Dalhousie & Chamba is a wonderful spectacle view of lush green saucer, herds of animals grazing in the picturesque meadow present a perfect pastoral scenery. It is a lifetime experience to see ‘white khajjiar’ in winters with Mother Mature dresses itself in white gown of snow.

Punjpulla

Punjpulla:Beyond Satdhara there is another pretty spot where water from gurgling stream from amidst woods from the dainkund side flows under five little bridges. Sardar Ajit Singh, a freedom fighter & uncle of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, has his memorial at Panjpulla.

Chamba

Chamba, the valley of milk and honey is known for its streams, meadows, temples, paintings, and the famous Chamba rumal was the headquarter of the Chamba princely state.Situated on the banks of river Ravi and presenty the district headquarters, this place has preserved the heritage in the form of temples, art and architecture. Chamba has numerous temples which are centuries old and are patterned in the local hill architecture. A museum is also present which holds the key to the artifects, which have formed the part of the lives of the people, of this valley.

Dainkund

A valley of flowers & A trekkers retreat.
A 40 minutes soft trek surrounded by flowers leads you to the towering peak offering a birds eye view of the verdant valleys of the Beas, Chanab & Ravi Rivers. A must visit place.

Kalatop

A wild life sanctury, this spot has a thick forest cover. It commands a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. There is a small cottage rest house of the H.P. Forest Department which enhances the beauty of this location. Quite a few forest trails embark enroute to this spot

Chamera Lake

The lake is an ideal place for water sports & angling. Picturesque lake is a nice spot picnics.

Pir Panjal Range

Dalhousie is famous for its view of the Pir Panjal Range. As you drive from Dalhousie towards Khajjiar you can have a crystal clear view of these ranges which are usually sniw capped all around the year.

Ravi River

Ravi river flows along as you drive from Chamba to Dalhousie. This river is quite on many places which makes it beautiful place for picnics. The water is chilled as it flows from the the high Pir Panjal ranges

Satdhara

Seven springs gurgling with refreshing water are noted for their medicinal properties being rich in mica & other minerals.

Subhash Baoli & Karelnu Village

Subhash Baoli- named after Subhash Chandra Bose who visited Dalhousie during 1937, believed to have regained health, after being imprisioned by the British, drinking natural spring water. He spent most of his time meditating by the side of this spring & meeting his party workers associated with the freedom movement of India
